DIPLOMA  IN CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY

COURSE SYLLABUS

(Dip. Hyp)

 

To make our training accessible to as wide range of participants as possible we offer two types of training format, the part time flexible weekend or the intensive format.

Part time weekend course runs over 10 intermittent weekends spread over 10 months period. The Intensive course runs over three weeks - Monday to Friday.

The successful completion of the Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy would make graduates eligible for Practitioner registration within GHR and the Hypnotherapy Section of the CHNC.

This is probably one of the best, in depth courses in Clinical Hypnotherapy in Britain. Consisting of a mixture of theory and practice, the course explores all the main aspects of hypnosis - providing a very solid and broad base and techniques including some psychotherapeutic techniques for treating a very wide range of disorders - psychological, emotional and physical. The material is presented simply with  lots of scripts for use. About half the time on each day is spent with theory and the other half of practising techniques.

MODULE 5                                                                     

Hypnotherapeutic techniques for dealing with several conditions, including some eating disorders including bulimia, obsessive-compulsive disorders, gastro-intestinal problemsskin disorders. Introduction to NLP. Autosuggestion. Emile Coue the prophet of auto suggestion. Inner child. Inner child work. Age regression and regression techniques.

MODULE 6                                                                      

Anxiety and stress. Stress Management. Panic disorders. Unwanted habits, including smoking. Alcohol and drug abuse. Eating disorders. Nail biting. Phobias and fears. AllergiesInsomnia. Depression and types of depression . How to deal with clients with depression. Hypnosis for cancer patients. 

MODULE 7                                                                       

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (I.B.S.).  Enuresis. Blushing. PMT. Pre-menstrual tension script. Psycho-sexual problems including Impotence, Premature Ejaculation, Discomfort, Frigidity, Vaginism, Vulvadynia, Infertility problems. Abuse. Learning problems. Memory enhancement. Public speaking. Examination nerves. Enhanced sports and music performance.

MODULE 8                                                                        

Automatic writing and drawing. The Meta model. The outcome frame. Hypnotherapy in pain control. Anaesthesia. Hypnotic pain control is covered in surgery, cancer, obstetrics and dentistry. Dealing with emotional pain (grief, bereavement) as a result of lost one. Perceptional Position and Dissociation. Matryaoshka Induction.

MODULE 9                                                                        

The six principals of Analytical Hypnotherapy. Free association. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR). Gestald therapy. The Milton model. Interpersonal technique. Pre-birth experience. Mind body therapy. Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OSD), questionnaire for clients with OCD. Anger management. Dealing with insomnia, snoring. 

MODULE 10

Setting up in practice and marketing skills. Code of practice. Future training requirements, registration with GHSC, insurance.

PAST LIFE REGRESSION THERAPY

COURSE SYLLABUS

(Dip. PLR)

About half of the time of each day is spend practicing techniques. The groups are kept small to ensure individual attention and the material is simply presented.

 

MODULE 1

Background to reincarnation. Western and Eastern ideas.Reincarnation research, Dr. Ian Stevenson. Incremental regression.Guided imagery. Left / right hemispheric differences.Traumatic events sequence. Past life residues:  emotional, mental, physical, spiritual. False memory. Present life regression. Initial interview. Body language. Working ethically.

 

MODULE 2

The sequence of Past Life Therapy. Right and wrong ways of regression. Reverse speech. Additional techniques. The assumptive, speculative, open and conditional question. The technique of assuming another's view point. The Intuitive Self. IMR's. Use of voice.

 

MODULE 3

Your client as a mirror. Resistant clients. Altered states. Relaxation, meditation skills. Forgiveness and self-forgiveness as a major therapy. Saying the unsaid. Unfinished business. Non hypnotic regression: the affect, somatic and linguistic bridges. Beliefs, patterns of behavior. Abriaction and catharsis. Vacarious trauma.

 

MODULE 4

Physical elements as Past life residues. Background to hypnosis. Inner dialogue work. Self-hypnosis /visualization. The meaning of illness. Affirmations. Inner child, hearing and reintegration. Further applications: phobias, obsession, depression, eating disorders. Recurring dreams.

 

MODULE 5

Latest research into psychoneuroimmunology. Use of thought field therapy. Change the way you see yourself and the way others react to you. Setting up your business. Client's form and questionnaire. Explaining session.

 

MODULE 6

Spirit releasing therapy. Case histories. The sequence of spirit releasing therapy. The discovery of attached entities and approach to dealing with them. Abortions, out-of-body experiences, Sub-personalities. Dark entities and their identification. Fragmentation. Organ transplants. Future and this life progression.

Courses are available in Inverness, Edinburgh, Dublin, Aberdeen and Glasgow/East Kilbride. We're planning to have a course in Bulgaria in 2014. The intensive course is split into two weeks.

Monday to Friday 

9.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. (with a lunch break)

Also a non-intensive course is available, over five months - one weekend per month.
